Ponderosa distinguishes our boutique quality cannabis flower from other dispensaries by displaying and dispensing it "deli style" in glass jars with distinct copper lids - we call 'em CopperTops - reflecting the pride of our ownership group in being born and raised in the great State of Arizona. The name stuck, defining the high quality flower you can only get at Pondy.
QUALITY GROWN FLOWER
CopperTop flower is exclusively grown by our cultivation division, Sonoran Roots. After our flower is harvested, it is patiently and properly dried, cured, and manicured by Sonoran Roots' incredibly talented harvest and hand trim teams. Our flower is never treated with chemical, pesticides, or heavy metals, and is independently lab tested in compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services standards.

Sonoran Roots is a vertically integrated, craft cannabis company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. As an independent and locally owned company founded by Arizona natives, Sonoran Roots maintains a focus on producing high quality, clean, and compliant cannabis products to its customers. The company owns and operates two cultivation facilities in Mesa & Tempe, a state of the art extraction lab in Tempe, and Ponderosa Dispensary. The company also has a third cultivation facility under development. The company’s family of brands is well known in the Arizona cannabis market, and includes:
Sonoran Roots, the cultivation division of the company, which supplies Ponderosa Dispensary and the Canamo extraction lab, sells wholesale flower products to other licensed dispensaries, and has collaborative partnerships with several respected operators in the AZ market.
